Looking over my past games, I found a pattern:
Scandinavian: scores 90%; +4,=1,-0
Slav: scores 50%; +1,=0,-1
English: scores 0%; +0,=0,-5 0%
I am strong at the Scandinavian, so-so at the Slav, and weak at the English! I'm convinced now that opening study will solve my troubles, by conserving time and providing me with middlegame plans.
