Games, 8/23/06

I'm focusing on my thought process and the middlegame plans that arise from my openings, now that I have a repertoire. I rock at tactical puzzles, but that doesn't show up over the board.

I held my play together for a full game! I used my time reasonably on tactical moves, but I played positional moves too slowly: 12, 14, 15, 16. My opponent missed a win on turn 30, but my endgame rocked.

I played an excellent game upto 27...Rc7, but I used 11/15 minutes and my opponent only used 4/15 minutes. I figured I had to make "something" happen and played crazy moves I knew were unsound. :(
