Two stronger players looked at yesterday's games and concluded that while I opened well and am tactically competent, I play planlessly.

I blundered in only 1 out of my last 3 games. It's partially luck, but they're right. I should spend some time on basic strategy.

I just bought "The Amateur Mind". From now on, I play with a plan!
