Training Progress - 4/20/2007

What progress?! A few colleagues flew in to see me this week, and I spent most of my waking hours meeting with them. The remainder went to my daughter. I had little time for chess, except to review some endgames from Minev.

In life, we must choose our priorities. My family and career come first. Minev doesn't seem to mind. I'll spend some quality time with him this weekend to make up for lost time.

Someone bought me Chessbase as a gift, and I can't wait to fire it up tomorrow! I also won a casual game, playing the Symmetric English as White, so I guess I haven't forgotten everything.

See you back here next Friday!

chessBase is wonderfull! congratulations. a reason to play at ICC (or FICS) is the weblog, whereby we can quickly go to our game database, and, even in rapid format, view our game, see where we the game fist deviates from book, see the obvious missed tactical continuations, and review endgames.

i can honestly say, that chessBase has lifted my chess play and study.

congratulations! and glad to hear you have your priorities clear and, secondly but no less, actually live THEM.

how goes the venture capital effort? is that your path, a start up? you seem to keep taking about being an employeee, and this is, of course, no less but quite different!

warmly, dk

I would like to tell you about that, but e-mail is probably more appropriate. Could you send me yours again? Mine is likes_for_est_s@yahoo.com, without the underscores (_)!

Hey! Had to check out your blog again, since you posted a comment on mine. Thanks for the comment! :D

BTW, you want to see a really rogue 1.b4 game? I dare you to see what I just posted! But, keep in mind that it was a G/30, so that sort of stuff is just fine!
